Today on 2015-07-13 Updater says "Aktuell. Überprüft am 13. Juli 2015 um 21:59:24 MESZ" but the installed version is ownCloud 8.0.4 (stable) and not Version 8.1.0 available since July 6th 2015.
What is going wrong?

The updater will be activated a while after the main release. In this case we might delay it until 8.1.1 is out. If you want to update earlier then you can update manually is described in the documentation.

The updater shipped with 8.0.5 and 8.1.0 will also show this delay like discussed here: #111 and seen in 3829ad6#diff-d0a23fc3670bfb110bbae0c2f0987e17R23
