Within our ownCloud 10 infrastructure we currently offer a Interactive Tutorial.
This will popup during the first login to ownCloud, which can then still be consulted in the personal settings.

Help

For non-technical users, this can be a useful solution to understand the basic functionality like sharing within ownCloud Web.

InteractiveTutorial_Upload

We have extend this also with some extra links to our documentation.

By the way, this extension was original developed by RNP Brazil

Thanks for suggesting this @T0mWz! I know CERN is working on a similar concept in #7096, I'd hand this over to @tbsbdr for concepting/decisions first

Hey @T0mWz, we need this kind of tour but won't integrate it within our beta phase as we currently need to focus on bugfixes and blockers. @elizavetaRa / cern used https://shepherdjs.dev/ which also allows to highlight certain DOM elements like in your screenshots. Do you think Elizas approach fits your needs?
