pact-node fails to download binary on Ubuntu 16.04 node 10.13.0 #149

Interesting, I wonder if GitHub has changed something as this has been the way for a while now |
It's likely that something changed. I put out a support ticket to them a few hours ago using the link, and have not yet received a response. |
The install still works under node 8, which I find interesting. I'm not sure what the exact difference in behavior is between the two. |
This is affecting us as well (as of ~6 hours ago), so I appreciate all the work that's going into resolving this. 😃 |
Thanks for your patience folks. A new version should be out, please let us know if this helps. As a quick aside for anyone else struggling, as a temporary fix you can still manually download the binary and configure pact-node: https://github.com/pact-foundation/pact-node/#pact-download-location. Only do this if you have to, because the binary it pulls down changes frequently. |
That's version |

1. Specifying the User-Agent like in this PR is a proper fix for the
issue that we encountered.
2. The issue that many of us were encountering because of this should
no longer be an issue. Their data center team should have resolved it over
the weekend.
