andersy005 merged and released the changes previously in https://github.com/andersy005/intake-esm.git@refactor

In order to use the latest intake-esm for the CMIP6 hackathon, this environment.yml needs to be updated

changes made by andersy005 have now been merged and released in v2019.10.15

Because the latest release of intake-esm introduces breaking changes, it might be a good idea to pin the version to intake-esm>=2019.10.15

Build failing because circleci can't find v2019.10.15 of intake-esm, even though it is available on conda-forge as of 45 mins ago...

I am not sure of what the underlining issue is. Try unpinning it, and see if it is able to pull the latest release from conda-forge

Despite what conda says on its website we still can't actually install the latest version of intake-esm with conda. So we will use pip instead, which does have the latest version
