Dropping the previous approach of accessing databases in favor of the custom LevelDB wrapper means that Windows builds should now finally be possible in theory. The problem is that Mapnik dropped Windows support a while ago and I've to find a library that is nearly as fast as Mapnik for stitching images. See issue #16.
