Two obvious patches, plus one patch to fix a bug in the MPI migration adapter. I do not explicitly set a selection algorithm in the Migration adapter and this causes problems when the self.selector function slot is empty. It also doesn't work correctly if the user has set a number of Selectors (as is handled for selectors in the core). Here is a fix that I think is comprehensive.
