This plugin for Piwigo allows administrators to force usage of SSL transport layer when browsing Piwigo, either globally, or on selection of sensible pages (identification, registration, admin pages).

On https enabled web servers, HTTP requests are automatically redirected to https requests. HTTPS requests are secured using STS (Strict Transport Security).

Themes compatibity

To disable quick login, the plugin makes use of a custom menu item for the connection in the specific case where the HTTPS connection is partially forced for identification, to avoid initiating a login attempt from an unprotected index page.
