phonegap create TestApp && cd TestApp && phonegap serve

load on nexus 5 / deviceready does not fire

It is possible that phonegap.js and/or cordova.js are not being served.

Hmm... are you using the latest phonegap-cli? A recent version (last 2 weeks) patched this issue.

It appears that we tested on a Nexus 5 previously:

Whew! Glad to hear that. This was not the kind of issue that I wanted to see after pressing Publish on the Android store.
