In order to ship our development and production images with the latest dependencies and security fixes, we plan to upgrade to the new 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) base image as soon as it is stable and generally available.

Our Docker base images were upgraded from Ubuntu 23.10 to 24.04 LTS today, so the next release will come with new versions of Darktable, RawTherapee, and FFmpeg (among many other updated dependencies). Before we release it, we will take a look at the open pull requests to see if any of them can be merged.
