Hello. I am trying to use the rectangular Hyperpixel 4.0 LCD with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Raspbian. I am using a recent version of the OS, so I am not using the one-line installer. I am getting zero output from the LCD after following the install process detailed in #177.
I am using a fresh image of Raspbian(32-bit), and first installed the LCD with the standoffs attached. I added the line dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dpi-hyperpixel4 to the end of my /boot/config.txt file. I disconnected my monitor from the Pi and rebooted the system. Upon startup, the screen displayed nothing at all. It is worth noting that with the standoffs attached the extended header does not make full contact with the surface of the Pi's GPIO connector. I have since tried with the standoffs removed so that the header can make full contact, and have experienced the same result. Following this I consulted this page again, and subsequently begun writing this issue.
I am using the rectangular Touch model. The screen was purchased over 3 years ago, and this is the first time it has been used. It is connected to my Pi using the GPIO pins, I have tried both with and without the standoffs.
I am using a Raspberry Pi 3B+. The output of the cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep Revision command is Revision: a52082. The outputs of the 'lsb_release --description' and 'uname -r' commands are Raspbian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) and 5.15.32-v7+ respectively. This is a fresh setup, but I have edited the openbox config to adjust keyboard shortcuts to my liking.
