Our third core distribution of Pinax.
We are getting back on track after dropping the ball on 16.10 and not getting on done in 2017.
Starter projects, apps, and themes will be 18.01 and will be released at the end of January 2018.
- upgrade to Django 1.11 and Django 2.0
- release of and upgrade to django-user-accounts 2.0
- major new release of pinax-stripe to include Stripe Connect support for building marketplaces
- progress on groupware features
- progress on symposium / conference / event features
- bootstrap 4 support in starter projects
- breaking apart theme from templates with pinax-theme-bootstrap becoming pinax-templates after getting semantic markup on all templates in Pinax
- October through December — work on existing and new apps, projects and themes
- January 1 — go into triage mode deciding which apps and projects to include and finishing them off
- January 15 – freeze on apps
- January 22 (approx) — release candidate of projects
- January 31 (approx) — 18.01 tagged
