What did you do?

  1. Set the upstream TiDB tidb_gc_life_time to 72 hours
  2. Set the gc-ttl of the cdc as 24 hours
  3. Pause the changefeed syncing for 48 hours and resume

What did you expect to see?

The changefeed can continue syncing.

What did you see instead?

The changefeed failed.

Versions of the cluster

Upstream TiDB cluster version (execute SELECT tidb_version(); in a MySQL client):

TiCDC version (execute cdc version):

v7.1.0, v7.0.0, v6.5.0
