Just installed again and for some reason it is not changing to dark theme even though configuration file states dark theme.

Are you sure you are checking the config correct file?

It was HA. On HA my user is set to Auto for the theme. On my browser is showed black as my browser is set to dark mode. On HA taskbar menu it was white... so I set the user to dark theme and it went dark theme on HA taskbar menu...
