Hi
I am trying to build biber 2.1 for Debian, and lot of the tests fail due to differences in the sortinithash entries.
Are these values depending on which Unicode::Collate you are using? There are two availables, one from core perl, and one from CPAN (1.12).
Do you have a suggestion how to circumvent these problems, as I don't think they are serious.
Thanks

It might depend on all sorts of things but you really want the latest Unicode::Collate (which is 1.12) and Unicode::Normalize <= 1.17. This latter is a pain but they took out XS support for 1.18+ which slows everything down dramatically.

Ok, thanks Phil, I have added a dep onto the extra perl lib and now it builds fine. I guess it would be better to have the same also for runtime, not only for the tests?

Hmm, when you do a "perl Build.PL" it should warn you about exactly these sort of things?

Building and distributing is different in Debian, but don't worry, I'll care for that.
