How would I get this on Mac. I love running Pokemon Red but recently have found myself not able to compete with the OpenEmu version of Gambatte due to the Select+Up+B Nido Manip strat not working on that emulator (don't ask why, it just doesn't).

You can try the Wine.app from the WineBottler website. Launch the app and go to the wine icon on the status bar and click on 'Change Prefix' and then add a new prefix and choose your folder location. By default it places the folder on
/Users/*username*/yourprefix
Next, just double click the gambatte.exe and a prompt will show up. Choose 'Run directly in', then 'Go'. it'll make a virtual C: drive in the prefix folder and that's it.
If you're a using a USB HID adapter or a direct non-xbox controller, you can map the buttons in the settings as normal. With Xbox, you need the 360Controller driver to work with emulators.
