Dock icons disappear when moving them

Issue:
Moving the Application, Launcher and Workspaces icons on the dock cause them to disappear as they are being disabled in the Settings -> Desktop.

Expected:
The icon is moved to it's new location without issue.

I was not able to recreate this on my work machine this morning, but when trying to match the settings shown in the gif, I changed my dock from "Intelligently hide" to "Always hide," and the issue started happening. It's now still happening even when I change back to "Intelligently hide."

On a second machine (fresh install), the issue was not occurring, but again started after I changed to "Always hide" and then back to "Always visible."

Looks like the problem might be in desktop-widget, and appear only when settings is open. Though given the upstream issue there may be other problems.
