Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):
Pop Shop

Issue/Bug Description:
Clicking the "Open" button after installing an app throws an error. Pretty sure it's only in the "list" view for apps (i.e. search results or one of the "featured boxes" on the Pop shop home page)

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

  1. Open Pop Shop
  2. Search for an app you have never installed before (or Click one of the featured boxes on the Pop Shop and pick an app from those lists)
  3. Click "Install" next to an app in the list (i.e. Akgregator or Alligator or AMule)
  4. App installs
  5. Notification "App has been installed" with "Open" button
  6. Click "Open" button
  7. Error pops up:
    Failed to launch “Akgregator“
AppInfo not found for package: Akgregator

Expected behavior:
"Open" should open the newly installed app.

Other Notes:

  1. It's not repeatable if you remove and reinstall. After uninstalling Akgregator and reinstalling it the same way, the "Open" button works
  2. I've seen this often in Pop Shop but grew blind to it. Watching the LTT video reminded me of it so figured I would bring it up!
  3. As a user I don't need a notification and button that an app was successfully installed.

This looks to be a duplicate of elementary#1533 which was fixed upsteam in elementary#1597 in August.

Thanks for the update! So I guess this will get rolled into Pop OS at some point.
