@dghubble with the ignition version change from 3.3.0 to 3.4.0 the latests stable Flatcar (Flatcar-stable-3510.2.1-arm64-hvm) fails to boot with Ignition failed: unsupported config version on my ec2 instances

I had to pin the provider to 0.12 to work around this

The version of poseidon/ct determines the version of Ignition https://github.com/poseidon/terraform-provider-ct#versions. You'll see this any time any time you supply a newer Ignition than the OS supports (their release notes include the ignition version 2.14 vs 2.15, which corresponds to spec 3.3 or 3.4 https://www.flatcar.org/releases)
