regarding the last commit: interestingly, "there's <plural noun>" is more often than not considered standard English, just informal, because "there" is more of a grammatical structure than an actual subject and "'s" isn't a direct contraction of " is" in this context
a Google search for "there's plural" yields some interesting reads. looked this up while reviewing originally because I wasn't sure if it was right /shrug
