Let's talk about the typography of the name prest

I'm not a designer, but I like to look at something and feel that it is visually pleasing, especially when I am reading a text.

Today I use the following typography for the project name: pREST

p in lower case and REST in upper case, why this way? In the Wikipedia description it is described as "REST" in uppercase "ful" in lowercase (getting RESTful), looking at this I came up with pREST.

What does the suffix d mean?
d of daemon

A daemon is a service process that runs in the background and supervises the system or provides functionality to other processes.
