What?

The documentation has to be refactored.

How?

Step1

The first step is to backport all changes from propelorm.github.com to the documentation directory.

Step2

The second step is to write a complete book which covers all Propel core features.
That means to merge the following chapters of the current documentation:

  • Project Setup
  • Propel Basics
  • Cookbook > Common Tasks
  • Extending Propel
  • Behaviors

And, to write a book with the following chapters:

// to be defined

Step3

The Reference Guide has to be kept.

Step4

The fourth step is to create a new cookbook with the following sections:

  • symfony 1.x
  • Symfony2
  • Silex

Step5

The last step is to write a big tutorial. The purpose is to explain how Propel works in real life, and why it is really interesting, powerful, and fast.

Who?

Leader: to be defined

Others

The documentation is available at: http://propel2.propelorm.org/.
