I downloaded the binary toolchain.

Are you talking about the precompiled version out there, cause the one I found didn't have the libraries

listen guys the only way that i can think that would get around this failure is to use zlib-1.2.6 in the libraries build

ooPo was this issue fixed with your latest update ? how is this still an open ticket.

i was building on
CPU: AMD64
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Tools: MingW, and Msys
