I'm not referring to the clickbait folks that come at top in search results and don't help twat, but the genuine public awareness efforts. We could do some inter-linking and get linked to in return.

Not on the main map page of course, but perhaps an about page or on the repo's readme or somewhere we can publish for community.

myneta.info as pointed out by @planemad was one.

Got another one from a DMer in Pune who was part of a volunteer group that made it:

Great idea, this will be really useful list for voters if it doesnt already exist.

Have started a doc here https://github.com/publicmap/electionmap/blob/master/LINKS.md

This is great!

We should definitely either link to a page with links from the map view or, ideally, just have a link that displays a modal overlay or so. In general, it maybe nice to have some links on the page for some simple things - and if we have a nice way to show like a modal with some info in it, that might be ideal. I can see, for example, we may definitely want another for "Data" to explain data sources a bit, and also an "About". Let's look at this soon once we're happy with the map interactions, etc.

I'd say one "About" link (where the "source" and "feedback" links presently are) is good, and that can then lead to a proper site page with menu for different headings, including one to go back to the map. (making the map a landing page)

That sounds good to me @answerquest - maybe a simple one-pager HTML we can add into an about/ folder or however we want to call it?

Can someone take this on? Or at least bringing together content / sections?

@catrawalkar nice work! But on my end I need to activate my CORS extension to see the page. And there's some error coming in console log even then. Any possibility to locate all your scripts and data sources under the same domain and remove all errors?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eci.citizen : Voter Helpline : Official app by ECI. I'm impressed by the work done : finding your booth and serial number details is a breeze, there's a section listing some pretty damning notices of violations that ECI has sent to major parties, and one section with the contesting candidates' profiles and pictures.
