We should document the steps to put the operator in an unmanaged state and what it means.

  • What is an unmanaged state
  • How to set it unmanaged
  • What will happen if I modify/delete a resource with the operator in unmanaged state
  • What will happen with my modifications if I put the operator into a managed state again
  • What resources are managed by the operator
  • What fields are reconciled when it is managed
