supermariohd3

This is a revolutionary feature could it be implemented in punes?

While I'm not the author of this emulator I think features like this would break the philosophy of being an accurate emulator.
puNES focuses of being as accurate as possible and faithful to the original hardware and I have yet to see a original NES or Famicom game look like that.

Just my 2 cents.

@Sigmavirus You can simply not use this feature if punes will ever get it if you don't like it.

OK fair enough.

But what I really would like and have wished for a long time is for puNES to use post processing shaders/CRT shaders enable to get that old TV like feel.

Look at this image, it's from LibRetro/RetroArch using a CRT shader in the bsnes core, looks like an old TV right?

This right there I would die for to have in puNES!

@ADormant HD tile features is a beautiful, mkwong98 has done a great job, but for the moment I have a list of things to do rather long. Maybe in the future.
@Sigmavirus I really like the effect, I will see if it will be possible to implement.

Thanks for the support guys.

Thanks FHorse!

That specific shader is named CRT Royale and this is (http://abload.de/img/retroarch-0713-2316229bq7l.png) what it can look like if you implemented it to puNES or enabled the possibilities for post processing shaders/CRT shaders.

It's really gorgeous what can be accomplished with these kind of things.

Here's the GitHub page from LibRetro common-shaders if you want to take a look:

@Sigmavirus I should rewrite the management of shaders to implement and that's what I'm going to do very soon.
