In v1.16, recordings made with
v1.2
or earlier, andr0.22.x
or earlierhave been deprecated due to the fact that these recordings are missing meta information that is required for the upgrade to the
Pupil Player Recording Format 2.0
. For details see "Missing Meta Information" in the v1.16 release notes. In order to make users aware of this, upgrading such recordings was only possible through the use of v1.16 and v1.17. Due to a bug, this was no longer possible for all kind of recordings. In addition, users running macOS Big Sur are no longer able upgrade such recordings as the earliest version running on macOS Big Sur is Pupil Player v3.1.
Therefore, we decided to allow upgrading deprecated recordings starting in Pupil v3.4 again. This release also includes a bug fix for an issue with pre v0.7.4 recordings.
