I have been trying for a while now to use PAT tokens for authing to github.com with r10k and I cannot figure out what format the file is supposed to be in, what permissions, or what group this should be added to in order for r10k to properly read the file. Can someone provide guidance on what needs to be done here?

The error I am getting is /etc/puppetlabs/r10k/token is missing or unreadable, cannot load OAuth token no matter the file permissions. This is owned by root and there is no puppet group in the image. How can I make this work? I cannot use ssh.
