Hatch env run for project entrypoint script

I'm a new user, trying to grok how hatch is designed and if it improves my current workflow.

Often I use python in local projects, with a venv in the project folder managed with python -m venv and pip install -e .. This works great for most of my use cases.

All CLI apps have an entrypoint such the following, which in this example would make the command informa available on the PATH when my venv is active:

[project.scripts]
informa = "informa.cli:cli"

Under hatch this is not the case - I have to use hatch run informa, instead of the snappy vanilla command name. From a UX perspective, this is a step back for me.

Is this right? Is there a way to continue to use just the shorthand command?

You can run hatch shell which will make such entry points available, which I'm assuming is similar to what you already do with activation.

How would you recommend that I update documentation such that the command's purpose becomes more clear?
