How instruction [1] linked in this readme correlates with the oneAPI setup instruction? For example, see [2] - oneAPI instruction for Ubuntu 22.04.
It seems that [1] suggest alternate approach to setup what's already available thru oneAPI. This gives questions on support policies and update frequencies. Some concerns might be raised on potentially conflicting packages wish user to switch his oneAPI configured system to what is described here at [1].
