Qbittorrent does not install on Ubuntu 18.04.01

If on linux, libtorrent and Qt version

libtorrent-rasterbar.so.9 -> libtorrent-rasterbar.so.9.0.0
libQt5Xml.so.5 -> libQt5Xml.so.5.9.5
(installed from website download of OS)

What is the problem

What is the expected behavior

Not the above. Installs and works properly

Steps to reproduce

Install instructions on on project website:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent

Remove from your sources.list the repo 'http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu xenial-getdeb InRelease'
Then sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent should work.

correction:
made the modification to
etc/apt/sources.list

moved all "sources.list" variants out of /etc/apt to /etc/aptbackup folder
I tried:
sudo grep -rnw /etc -e '.InRelease.'

Twisted. Exactly how and where is apt getting its archive download instructions?

At the moment I don't have a debian/ubuntu machine to take a look.
But if you have Synaptic installed, check the repositories that show under Edit->Repositories (or Tools->Repositories, I can't remember the exact menu item) and uncheck getdeb.net

Also your last error message shows these files:

/etc/aptbackup/sources.list.save.backup
/etc/aptbackup/sources.list.save
