Please provide the following information

qBittorrent version and Operating System

Win 10 - 64

If on linux, libtorrent and Qt version

(4.1.6)

What is the problem

It feels that I must be "doing something incorrectly" in my torrenting with qBitTorrent.
Here is the gist of it:
1.
In qBitTorrent , search panel, I search for a desired file, I may see 500 or 2000 seeders, then I press 'Download'.
Sometimes it works as expected, but often it searches endlessly. I can cancel or press download.
in the Transfer panel it says, "downloading Metadata'.

or, 2.
In qBitTorrent , search panel, I search for a desired file, I may see 500 or 2000 seeders, then I press 'Download'.
Sometimes it works as expected, then back on the 'Transfer' page it indicates Zero Seeders and Zero Peers, even though the were many on the Search page.

Is this normal? Why the switch? Why does the plethora of finds turn into a desert in Transfer?

Thanks.

My guess is that the site the results are from, is lying or it may even be sending total peers it knows that ever downloaded that torrent from it, as current peers. I could be wrong on both.
Personally i observed that behavior on limetorrents so i got sick of it and just disabled it.
