Please provide the following information

qBittorrent version and Operating System

qbittorrent-nox v4.1.5 under Fedora 30

If on linux, libtorrent and Qt version

Standard installation using the dnf package

What is the problem

Status is set to firewalled until a download starts

What is the expected behavior

Status should be online or OK

Steps to reproduce

Restart the app to reproduce the problem

Extra info(if any)

I'm using port 56881, TCP and uTP. I forwarded both TCP and UDP to the server and any online port checker or my own Check_MK server can confirm that the port is opened and listening on my WAN IP. If I add any torrent, the status immediately turns green, but if I have no torrent and I just started the application, it will stay yellow/firewalled until I add a torrent. Overall this doesn't really impact the application itself but I have a local check for Check_MK to monitor qBittorrent status and having it returning firewalled should usually be a problem, and I don't see any real problem here. Am I missing something?

This is not an issue. To check if you have an Open NAT qBt has to see some incoming connections first.

@ghost ghost closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale Jul 25, 2022

Well FWIW it has been fixed since I opened this... in 2019. So issue or not... the behavior has changed.
