qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 4.3.9 x64
Operating system: Arch Linux
Qt: 5.15.2
libtorrent: 1.2.15

What is the problem?

Option 'Tray icon style' has no effect - tray icon stays 'Normal' (blue) when I change it to either 'Monochrome (for dark theme)' or 'Monochrome (for light theme)'. Restarting the app doesn't help. In the config file "Advanced\TrayIconStyle=0" changes to 1 or 2 depending on which monochrome icon I chose. Icons are installed here:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.6K gru 17 16:11 /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/status/qbittorrent-tray-dark.svg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.6K gru 17 16:11 /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/status/qbittorrent-tray-light.svg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.5K gru 17 16:11 /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/status/qbittorrent-tray.svg

qBittorrent installed from Arch Linux repositories. Desktop is KDE Plasma 5.23.5.

I confirm. I compiled a commit from a year ago and it's still broken so it seems that something outside qBt caused this. Or somehow, no one noticed for over a year.

I can't reproduce on master. Maybe it is related to qbt theme? I'm not using one, though.

I can reproduce on master and i don't use a qbt theme either.
Anyway it doesn't look like a qBt problem: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/qbittorrent-lost-its-system-trays-monochome-icons/94800/7

I can confirm it under Arch with KDE/Plasma and qBittorrent 4.4.0.

I've been having this problem for about a month, if I'm not mistaken. I believe 3.5.9 used to work initially and then it broke, which might mean that something else is the culprit. Plasma maybe?

On Arch+plasma, today i updated my system and retained the old qbittorrent package to stay on qt5.
Icon used to change, now it is not.
It is a plasma issue; lxqt environment acts ok.

It seems that the icon provided by breeze-icons is now enforced by kde.
Mmh, i made it work that way:
exit qbittorrent (probably not needed)

sudo mv /usr/share/icons/breeze/apps/48/qbittorrent.svg /usr/share/icons/breeze/apps/48/qbittorrent.svg.no
killall plasmashell ; rm ~/.cache/icon-cache.kcache ; plasmashell

run qbittorrent.

It would work as long as breeze-icons package is not updated.
