qbittorrent freezes and unresponsive with alcohol 120%

What is the problem?

I use the popular virtual drives software alcohol 120%, this software have the option to associate the image disk extensions with itself, for easy mounting of the image disk (right clic on a image disk and mount disk)

When i setup in alcohol the associate file extension .iso, if in qbittorrent i try to download or create any torrent with iso file, qbittorrent freezes, and i must to force close qbittorrent, and i must disable .iso file association in alcohol, for i can create/download torrents with iso file without problems, this issue/bug is present in all versions of qbittorrent v4 x64 (v4.x), in x86 versions this bug not exist.

Steps to reproduce

associate .iso file extension in alcohol 120%
try to download or create torrent with .iso file

i reported before the problem without know the reason that reproduce the bug, the issue is #16709

Little offtopic, but I'd suggest using WinCDEmu instead of bloated mounter tools.

wincdemu is too old and fails in windows 10 and 11, and alcohol is a good software, the only program with have interference is with qbittorent

I disabled the option and the issue still persist

They have *.mdf / *.mds files.

So it looks like this is it. *.mdf / *.mds are related to Alcohol 120%. It seems that when Alcohol 120% is installed, it hinders or slows down the system function of getting information about the file type, which is used by qBittorrent to obtain the file type icon.
