The slider for the global speed limits goes up to 10MB/s. For people on 100M connections, this is nice, but if you have 3M dsl, not so much. It's hard to get the slider to move a 5kB/s increment when it jumps by 45kB/s for each pixel of mouse movement.

This is somewhat more annoying on the Web UI because the slider popup doesn't come with a text box to set a custom value.

A custom max limit setting for both up and down sliders would be nice.

Is this still an issue? I don't see any slider under global speed limits, and every slider I have seen has a textbox aside to input a custom amount. This should be closed.

Its very low priority, but it's still pretty annoying to have to use the
text box (click, tab, tab, type vs click, click). Other clients do a much
better job or simply don't have sliders at all. The web UI still doesn't
have a text box at all.

An alternative solution to a custom max speed for the slider would be
a customizable list of "quick select" rates available on right-click of
speed (see μT 2.0.4: Options>Advanced>UI Extras>Speed popup list) or
perhaps a logarithmic slider

…L5 <input type="range"> to fix qbittorrent#1036 ; This is not globally supported and therefore I've also mimiced the qBittorrent's desktop UI and added a generic input which is always available. This also allows the setting to be placed outside the range of the <input type="range">(fix qbittorrent#43)

@sledgehammer999 this can be closed because text boxes were added to max rate dialog windows in WebUI.
