qBittorent is checking all files #550
Comments
This is clearly a duplicate of #247. For me it did not happen in V3.1.0alpha until now, so I hope it's fixed. |
When this happens again please copy/paste here the contents of the log. (view->log and then click the 'log' tab). |
Does qbittorrent-nox store the log somewhere? |
I have no idea. |
Well after reading the source and if I interpret it correctly the log messages are output in the stdout |
Ok, I will copy the log next time. But I'm not sure this is a duplicate of #247. In that bug report it is said that torrents disappear from the list of torrents. This doesn't happen on my side. What I have is only rechecking of all the added\dowloaded torrents. |
As #247 is fixed, I guess this one is fixed too. |
This might be a case of "forgot torrent savepath/labels/etc" after an unclean shutdown. It this is the case then it should be fixed with a1a5fb0 and bbf47b0 It will be included with v3.1.0 which is the next stable release planned. For those who cannot wait: If you still encounter this, comment and I'll reopen it. |
Just happened with 3.1.0. This is in the log for all torrents: I think it was caused by the daylight saving time (the clock went back 1 hour today). Aren't the timestamps stored in UTC time? |
Just happened to me when daylight saving ended with 3.1.8 on windows |
Same thing happened to me as to @bitingsock. Today DST started, the clock went forward 1 hour before dawn, and now qBittorrent wants to re-check every torrent. I use 3.1.8 portable on Windows 7. |
Yes. Right now qBittorrent is checking all my torrents after the time |
I had it happen to me too today. Unfortunately this is a libtorrent bug(I linked it above). |
The only hack-workaround about this is:
|
The same shit just happened to me, im using 3.3.1 , i turned on it this morning, and it has begun checking like half of my torrents. Im using windows. |
I have about 500GB downloaded using qBittorent.
I didn't use my computer for about a month. And now I turned it on, opened a torrent file by double click. The qBittorent opened the torrent file and started "Checking" of all other already downloaded torrents. This is crazy, it rechecks 500GB of data.
This is not the first time I encounter such behavior. It happened to me earlier about half a year ago.
My current version is 3.0.8
Windows XP SP3
