The real question is WHY are the boost headers even included in the source?. By modifying these to boost 1.60 you break builds against older boost. These headers should not be included since boost-regex is not a headeronly library (it requires a linked library..

I've tweaked my rpm spec to simply DELETE the include/boost before buildilng, then everything builds fine.

I'd recommend you to switch to Albert.
