percent is just one more supported unit, that has its own logic, though I fail to make it work reliably and understand it (see e.g. qgis/QGIS#48983 - The feature description imho does not help understand what happens in some scenarios, making things imho confusing)
and be explicit on what happens in different scenarios

@PhilipAlbrecht as discussed I made again a thorough testing to guess what happens in the different scenarios and here the update. |
