Original Redmine Issue: 16942
Affected QGIS version: 3.3(master)
Redmine category:browser

Possibly also affects WFS and WCS.

The connection names show, they do not expand to show layers.

Tested with Geoserver, Mapserver and QGIS Server.

I believe is a regression.

Affects also master... can't we just get rid of "OWS" in browser?

Honestly I've never found a use case for that OWS node. But apparently there was one, IIRC some years ago Marco Hugentobler was talking about it but I can't remember what it was.

@elpaso moreover if there are >1 connections with the same name (i.e. 1 wfs and 1 wms) then under OWS shows only one.

It is anyway completely broken (layers do not show, contextual menu on connections does nothing), I would suggest remove this thing from the Browser.

I agree - I don't see any good reason for the OWS group to exist
