Affected QGIS version: 3.6.1
Redmine category:gui
Mostly I work with the Identify Results Dialog docked in the main window at the right side.
In some QGIS sessions the panel opens very wide and the width can't be reduced (1st attachment).
It doesn't help to undock the dialog. In that mode there is set the same minimum width.
For me it looks like the dropdown menu at the bottom for the "Mode" could only be reduced to a
defined (too wide) size (2nd attachment).
In the situations it works the width can be reduced to a much smaller minimum of the mode field (3rd attachment).
I wasn't able to figure out in which situations the problem occurs. To get out of it it is sometimes
necessary to close and open QGIS two or three times.
As a workaround is there maybe an option to set a default minimum size of the "Mode" field?
