This error has the same origin as #39177 and #39178 . It happens when I start digitizing a layer with a derived field.

qgis 3.10.10 on debian unstable

The same origin? This issue doesn't seem related to the other two.

It is related. When I turn that option off, this message disappears.

I can reproduce on linux using branch #39257 (which means that this issue has a different root cause).
