When a metadata category that is completely empty is encountered, this viz explodes with a pretty cryptic error message:

Plugin error from diversity:
    labels [‘std’ ‘mean’] not contained in axis

This recently came up on the forum.

BUG: ignore empty metadata columns

Empty columns are ignored and a warning is displayed in the visualization listing the empty columns.

Fixes qiime2#141.
