Quantum Computing Weekend Workshop (2 days)

Microsoft QDK Coding and Circuits. This is an introductory workshop on Quantum Computing. Here we cover some basic topics on Quantum Computing for both students, enthusiasts, and professionals.

Agenda

Day 1: 24th July 2021 / Saturday / 10 AM - 3 PM

  1. Double Slit Experiment
  2. Stern - Gerlach Experiment
  3. QDK Setup

Day 2: 25th July 2021 / Sunday / 10 AM - 3 PM

  1. Qubit: Definition, Dirac and Vector Notations, Valid/Invalid Qubits with examples.
  2. Unitary Matrices
  3. X, Y, Z, H Gates: Matrix, Quirk Circuit, and Q# Coding
  4. Tensor Product of 2 and 3 Qubits
  5. CNOT: Matrix, Quirk Circuit, and Q# Coding
  6. Entanglement: Circuit, Quirk, and Q# Coding; Non-separability proof
  7. Teleportation: Circuit & Coding
  8. QnA Session

Each day a break of 1 hour (12 pm to 1 pm)
