Hi!

My name is Ruchi Bhalani and I'm a computer science student at UT Austin pursuing my BS and MS concurrently. I'm currently a peer mentor and undergraduate researcher at the UT AI lab, specifically the Learning Agents Research Group (LARG), where I work on multiagent systems, social robots, human-robot interaction, and quadruped robot behaviors. My most recent projects involve body tracking using the Azure Kinect, neural nets, and developing social dog-like behaviors for Boston Dynamics's quadruped robot, Spot.

SDE Intern at Amazon for Summer 2022 and 2023, and incoming FT SDE on the AWS Commerce Platform starting Fall 2024. You can find me on LinkedIn or check out my website.
