Notifications not working

I'm on OSX 10.8.4 Mid 2013 MacBook Air. I'm not seeing the notifications when tracks switch (yes, it's turned on in the settings). I've tried with and without the album artwork. I don't see an option for it in the notification center either. I've checked console and there are no errors there either.

Note that I've opened google music in safari and accepted the "do you want to allow this app to show desktop notifications) and that works just fine.

Those notifications that are in the Google Music website itself are unrelated to the notifications here in the app. Can you disable those in the labs and see if that is causing problems? I don't see why it should but it's a place to start.

I'm assuming your notifications work in Notification Center for other applications, yes?

Yep everything works fine in other apps and music notifications work fine
in my Fluid app for google music

Version 1.1.0 will include a change to the notifications code that could possibly fix this if it is at all related to the issue you're having. I'm going to close this issue for now (for the sake of the 1.1.0 milestone) but once that is released, if you still have the same problem then comment here and I'll immediately re-open the issue and investigate further.

@kbhomes updated to 1.1.1 and still no luck on notifications. Still don't see the app in the list of configurable notification center apps in sys prefs.
