I'll try to work on a patch, and verify that that patch doesn't break either actionpack tests or my tests.

Hi, what is the current status of this issue ?
Are the 4 failures mentioned in rubys@659e54e related to the two backported commits ?

No. Running Rails 3.2 with Rack 1.5 poses a number of problems. The back ported commits solved all but 4.

Unfortunately, to make further progress would require pulling in a huge amount of Rails 4.

At this point the viable options appear to be:

  • Updating to Rails 4 (which, after all, has released)
  • Have separate Rack 1.4 and Rack 1.5 packages

Hi @rubys.

It seems to be an issue only for Rails 3.2, right? Since it is not under maintenance anymore, could we close this issue?
