MBCS sheet names not rendering properly in some versions of MS Excel #45

The sheet name "日本語でのシート名" renders as "[字][字][字][か][か][カ][カ][カ][字]"

Turns out this is a problem with MS - nothing we can do about it. If the user is not using a localized version of Excel - they lose. end of story.
