The Add Fill tool has been conveniently separated from its parent tools (window, door, and multigroup) so that users can use it outside its normal context. The tool operates as described in the previous door, window, and multigroup sections.

An additional property, component, exists for this tool. This property accepts two options, door or window, which are a description of the type of element the fill is being used for. The biggest consequence of this property is that it determines how building tools will classify the faces that are generated by the tool i.e how to name the face maps. See the material section here for more details on why this may be important.
