Scripts were deprecated more than 5 years ago.
The
sound_recorderscript is effectively replaced bypost/multi/manage/record_mic. The module and script are short and very similar. Both leverage theclient.webcam.record_micmethod. The module supports multiple platforms; whereas the script supports only Windows.
