This wiki will be evolving over time.

It currently discusses the goals we’d like to achieve, our options, their pros and cons.

It is meant as an introduction to the Readium 2 CSS design and implementation.

Though implemented in Readium 2, one of our main goal is to design it so that it can be used in other frameworks. Consequently, it’s critical we get implementers’ feedback as well as authors’.

The project is split in phases:

  1. page (margins, etc.) + pagination
  2. default styles (for files without styles)
  3. user settings
  4. reading modes
  5. docs + case study
  6. themes (for which we’ll provide a boilerplate)

Authors can send private feedback and samples at readium-css(at)edrlab(dot)org.
